UK Ebola Initiative to Benefit from Telegraph Christmas Charity Appeal
I have been forwarded the below information about an important, innovative grass-roots initiative that is tackling Ebola in West Africa. The initiative has been selected as one of the beneficiaries of the Telegraph Christmas Charity Appeal this year and to make the most of this opportunity, needs to spread word of its work as quickly as possible.
Please take the time to read the below information and act on it to help stop the spread of Ebola.
The Masanga Mentor Ebola Initiative
Piloting transformational training technology to control and prevent infection from Ebola.
To stop the spread of Ebola we are teaching communities throughout West Africa to prevent infection. They need to know how to care for a sick member of their family, how to clean up and disinfect, and most importantly how to protect themselves, their families and their communities. They need to know what they need and how to request it.
The Masanga Mentor Initiative is piloting the first immerse learning module and the cascade community training system in Sierra Leone and Liberia. Funds are urgently needed to develop four further immerse learning modules and to implement the rapid community training roll-out.
The training needs to go viral faster than the virus.
There are four simple things you can do to spread awareness of the campaign.
