Masanga. There are 40 students in the nursing school studying to be nursing aids. There are 50 first year students in the three year nursing course in the Tonkolili College of Health Sciences and Technology which opened in 2012. Nurses could sponsor the salary of a nursing aid which would cost £25 per month. Nurses could raise money for the hospital. Why not mentor a nurse. We are in the process of securing better satellite links to Masanga and this will facilitate opportunities to create mentoring relationships to help develop the practicing nurses and nursing aids.
